License Plate Checkpoint

The traffic unit of the Columbia Police Department is planning a checkpoint sometime between Sunday and September 14th. This safety checkpoint will be during daylight hours. The exact location is not revealed.
Officers will stop drivers and look for anyone driving without a valid license or current insurance. As a motorist you will be asked for your driver’s license and insurance card. The delays from the checkpoint should be minimal according to the police news release.
