Ben Brammeier is an experienced family law attorney serving clients in Columbia, MO and the surrounding communities. He works with clients to navigate the many complexities of family law.
Ben attended the University of Missouri on an athletic scholarship and was a varsity letter winner on the Missouri cross country and track teams. He also earned First-Team Academic All-Big 12 honors in 2009 and 2010. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History.
After his time at the University of Missouri, Ben attended Officer Candidate School where he earned a commission as Second Lieutenant. Ben served seven years as an officer in the Missouri Army National Guard. It was here where Ben gained an appreciation for public service. In addition to serving his country, Ben also attended law school at the University of Missouri where he earned Dean’s List honors every semester and was a participant in the University of Missouri Veterans clinic assisting disabled veterans within the VA system.
Before joining Harper, Evans, Hilbrenner & Netemeyer, Ben was an attorney at Jones and Ueligger, and Vessell Bridges Murphy Law. He was a clerk at the United States Attorney’s Office and The Department of Homeland Security Office of the Chief Legal Counsel. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Missouri Courts as well as the United States Eastern and Western District Courts.
In his free time, Ben enjoys traveling, golfing, and staying active in his community.
